A FORMER sous chef at Gleneagles has moved to fellow Perthshire hotel Ballathie Country House.

Scott Scorer has taken over responsibility for food at the 41-bedroom hotel on the banks of the River Tay at Kinclaven after more than six years at the five-star hotel. The chef said he was looking forward to a new challenge.
“Ballathie already has an excellent reputation for its cuisine as well as accommodation and service,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to making the food even more exciting and attractive, and bringing in new influences and ideas to complement use of the finest Scottish produce.”
