ISLE of Arran Distillers has appointed Indie Brands to distribute its whiskies in the UK.
The agreement saw Indie Brands, which was established by Chris Bowen and Douglas Cunningham in March, take over distribution of the range in the on and off-trades from the beginning of this month.
Isle of Arran Distillers MD Euan Mitchell said the move comes after a record year for the distillery.
“Indie Brands is a new business that is looking to make progress,” he said.
“They share our ambitions for the Arran Malt and backed by Chris and Douglas they are a great fit for our business.
“We would like to thank our previous distributor, Blavod, for all their efforts over the past few years and wish them every success in the future.”
Indie Brands MD Douglas Cunningham said: “I’m delighted that Arran Whisky have entrusted us to help build the success of their brand.
