Restaurant shines light on festive fayre

CHRISTMAS came early to La Bonne Auberge earlier when the Glasgow restaurant unveiled its festive offer earlier this month.

Santa paid a visit to the West Nile Street restaurant to launch the Christmas menu – and got the chance to carry the Olympic torch.
That was all thanks to chef de partie Jordan Shane, a torchbearer when the relay visited Glasgow last month.
The festive menu will be available at La Bonne Auberge from Friday November 30 until December 30. The two-course festive party lunch is priced from £19.95 per person and includes a glass of bubbly on arrival, leek and potato soup, tournedos of turkey, and tea or coffee. The three-course party dinner starts from £27.50 and includes a glass of sparkling wine, red lentil and root vegetable broth, tournedos of turkey, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, and tea or coffee.
La Bonne Auberge is offering free hire of its Montmartre Suite for Christmas drinks parties for a minimum of 20 guests.
