Life is a Caberfeidh

A BAR and restaurant based in one of Scotland’s busiest fishing ports is up for sale.

Located in the village of Lochinver, the Caberfeidh has a lounge bar, a 30-cover “traditional and atmospheric” restaurant and owner’s accommodation.
There’s also a beer garden with views of the loch.
The Caberfeidh is said to attract a broad clientele, from the 400 village residents to the tourists and fishermen visiting the village.
Christie & Co’s Barry McNeil, who is marketing the property, said current owners Simon and Jennifer Allen have established a “wonderfully performing” business during their five years of ownership.
“This region of the UK is still regarded as one of the last wildernesses in Europe with its lochs, mountains, wonderful outdoor pursuits, extraordinary geology and white sandy beaches,” he said.
“With its host of attractions and activities, there is something to appeal to everyone.”
Offers over ÂŁ480,000 are sought.
