Drinks firm takes business gong

THE firm behind Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer and Lambrini has been recognised in this year’s Liverpool Regional Business Awards.

Liverpool-based Halewood International was named KPMG Business of the Year at a ceremony held in the city’s Anglican Cathedral. Ten awards were presented on the night.
The award comes as Halewood unveiled plans to double the business in size in the next five years.
“This award represents the hard work of each and every employee in some very challenging circumstances after the untimely loss of the company’s inspirational founder John Halewood last year,” said deputy chairman Peter Eaton.
