Chardon reshuffles hotel portfolio

GLASGOW-based hotel operator Chardon Management is to lose four Holiday Inn hotels from its portfolio – but gain three new properties down south.

The conclusion of its seven-year agreement with investment firm Starwood Capital Group means the Holiday Inn hotels in East Kilbride, Brighton, Leeds and Norwich, will exit Chardon’s management later this year.
Chardon confirmed it will open three new hotels – in Windsor, Southend and Sittingbourne – over the next three months and revealed it’s working with on another hotel management opportunity as part of its strategy to expand its portfolio by 10% each year.
Chardon was recently chosen to manage the roll-out of the new Puma Hotels Collection brand throughout the UK.
