CONCHA y Toro has created a new service to help operators maximise their wine offer.
The Chilean wine firm has launched a new website – www.raisingyourbar.co.uk – offering pubs and bars sales and merchandising advice, ‘how to guides’ and other tips and tricks.
The development comes after research (The Wine Intelligence 2011 On-Trade Report) highlighted two areas offering potential for outlets to boost their wine sales: product knowledge and visibility.
But it’s not only advice anyone using the site can gain: those who register online, collect the barcodes on the outer cases and send them to CyT in a pre-paid envelope have the chance to win free gifts, rewards and prizes.
“Wine can be a confusing and daunting topic but not anymore,” said the firm’s trade marketer Faith Knight.
“We have designed Raising Your Bar to help make the process of listing, selling and promoting wines in pubs and bars much easier.”
