A FORMER hospital annexe building in Glasgow’s west end is up for sale.
Property agent Knight Frank is marketing the property at 1000 Great Western Road on behalf of Nuffield Health, which has the hospital on nearby Beaconsfield Road. A spokesman for Nuffield Health said the property is now surplus to requirements following the extension of the main hospital.
Knight Frank partner David Reid said the building is one of the most prominent and admired in the west end.
“With stunning internal and external features the property now requires redevelopment and whilst it could be reinstated to its former grandeur of being a private dwelling house, we also expect to receive strong interest from developers and investors and perhaps even hoteliers,” he said.
