GALLO Family Vineyards has recruited actress, model and singer Holly Valance to be the face of its newly-launched Moscato wine.
Valance will feature in an advertising campaign throughout the summer months to promote the new 8.5% ABV wine to British women.
Running with the theme of old Hollywood glamour, the ads will encourage women to get in touch with their ‘inner Hollywood’.
Susanne Buchmann of Gallo Family Vineyards, said the star “resonates well with our target audience and is well placed to build demand for this emerging style of wine, which has seen great success in the US market”.
The new wine is described as refreshing and fruity, with flavours of pineapple and peach.
Gallo reports that Moscato wine sales surged in the US last year, growing by 73% to become the third largest selling wine variety in the country.
