Clarenco unveils Scots hotels

LUXURY hotel group Clarenco has officially launched its portfolio of Scottish properties.

The company has spent a claimed £12.5 million buying and revamping Carberry Tower in Musselburgh, Kinnettles Castle in Forfar and Ackergill Tower in Caithness, and has pledged to invest a further £2m in the three properties this year.
“We have plenty more planned for Carberry Tower, Kinnettles Castle and Ackergill Tower, including opening a spa in each property in 2013,” said executive chairman Mike Clare.
