DRINKS agency Emporia Brands is set to launch a new Irish whiskey range later this month.
The Wild Geese collection, which includes Rare Irish, Single Malt, Limited Edition and Classic Blend variants, is said to be made using an extended double distillation process; the resulting “richer” distillate is matured in single-use white oak casks.
The launch of the ‘super-premium’ range of Irish whiskies on June 26 will be backed by industry and consumer tasting events and cocktail competitions.
Emporia said The Wild Geese range fits with its portfolio of speciality spirits, which spans rum, gins, Tequila, Armagnac, grappa and vermouth. Brands in the agency’s stable include Chairman’s Reserve ST Lucian rum and Casco Viejo Tequila.
