Lodge a bid for Cairngorm hotel

A HOTEL in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park is on the market for the first time in 24 years.

Dalrachney Lodge in the village of Carrbridge is being sold by the Swanney family, who plan to retire from the trade.
Originally a hunting lodge dating from 1845, the hotel has 11 en suite bedrooms and four-bedroom owner’s accommodation. A detached two-bedroom self-catering cottage is included in the sale.
Paul Hart, head of agency at ASG Commercial, which is handling the sale, said the hotel is in an enviable location.
“The sale of this prestigious, landmark property in the Cairngorms National Park offers new owner-operators a fantastic business and investment opportunity with the additional benefit of living and working in a stunningly beautiful part of the world,” he said.
Offers over £495,000 are sought.
