AN outdoor drinks dispense system is being positioned as an ideal solution for outdoor areas after winning a top innovation award at one of the country’s largest hospitality shows.
The Hotelympia Innovation Awards, part of the annual Hotelympia trade show, rewards innovations in a number of different categories.
The Kontakt 55 system from Draught Beer Online was named the winner in the technology category of the awards, beating five other shortlisted entries.
The portable system allows operators to dispense drinks including draught beer, wine, and cider, in outside spaces. Kegs can be connected to the dispenser and ready to be served within five minutes.
“We were absolutely thrilled to receive the Innovation Award for our portable draught beer and wine dispensers, especially as we faced some stiff opposition from large international companies but still managed to impress the judges,” said Draught Online director Gerry Dack.
