THE operator behind a Glasgow west end tearoom has taken on a second outlet in the city centre in a deal brokered by CDLH.
Cup Glasgow, which has an outlet in Byres Road, acquired the leasehold of the former Bouzy Rouge on Renfield Street for its second venue, which has evolved into an evening dessert restaurant and cocktail bar.
Alan Creevy, director of CDLH, said the premises attracted a “great deal of interest” since it was put on the market late last year.
“We undertook a relatively restricted marketing campaign with no advertising but, nonetheless, we had a massive response and a large number of potential tenants,” he said.
