BELHAVEN has launched a new lower strength golden ale.
At 2.8% ABV, Belhaven Golden Ale is said to offer a clean, refreshing taste with a hint of citrus.
With the lower-strengh ale qualifying for a 50% duty discount (under the Small Beer Duty Law), Belhaven brewing and brands boss Euan Venters said licensees can choose whether to increase their margins or pass on the savings to their customers.
“Belhaven Golden Ale strikes the perfect balance between a midweek treat and moderation, and is a great option for those looking to enjoy great-tasting refreshment, without having to worry about it being too strong,” he said.
