A HOTEL development opportunity in Glasgow’s east end is on the market.
Part of the Collegelands business and residential quarter being developed by Dawn Group to the east of High Street, the development provides for a 200-bedroom hotel.
The first phase of the development, which includes office and student accommodation, was completed in 2011.
Kerr Young, associate director at Christie & Co, said, subject to agreeing terms with an operator, an anticipated 12-month build period would allow the hotel to start trading in the second half of 2013.
“The completed hotel will offer the operator prospects for excellent trading performance, particularly in light of the pending Commonwealth Games, which Glasgow will host in 2014,” he said.
