A MUSSELBURGH restaurant is to offer a taste of the Orient after it changed hands in a deal brokered by Christie & Co.

The former Restaurant 102 in New Street, close to Musselburgh harbour, was sold from a guide price of ÂŁ175,000 on behalf of Matthew Henderson of administrators Johnston Carmichael.
Christie & Co’s Barry McNeil said the business is to be given a “new lease of life” as a Chinese restaurant.
“We are delighted that this restaurant business has been restored in the town,” he said. “It fulfills a much-needed niche in Musselburgh and is sure to be a popular destination in this densely-populated area.
“We wish the new owners every success with their new venture.”
