The Arran Eagle has landed

ISLE of Arran Distillers has launched the fourth and final limited edition bottling in its Icons of Arran series.

The Eagle single malt, which takes its name from a pair of golden eagles which nest in the mountain behind the Lochranza distillery, was drawn from 14 ex-bourbon barrels and seven ex-sherry hogsheads selected by master distiller James MacTaggart from the 1999 distillation. Just 6000 bottles of The Eagle have been released.
The new whisky joins The Peacock, Arran Rowan Tree and The Westie in the Icons of Arran series.
“Each of these Icons has a special place in our hearts, featuring some of the delights that can be found in this area,” said MD Euan Mitchell. “It also showcases what is great about the distillery through the quality and attention put into each of these drams and The Eagle is no exception.”
