Guinness looks to convert sales

GUINNESS is currently trying to help Scots venues convert the sales opportunity in rugby union’s 6 Nations championship.

There are still two rounds of fixtures to go in this year’s tournament, which the ‘black stuff’ has been promoting with no fewer than 9000 point of sale kits in pubs around the UK.
The packs include fixture posters and window stickers, as well as drip mats and bar runners to tempt consumers to order a Guinness as they watch the game.
Consumer promotions have also been offered in the shape of ‘text to win’ scratchcards, with tickets for a match at Twickenham up for grabs. Marketing manager Stuart Kinch said Guinness and watching rugby go “hand in hand”.
