Chef enters hall of fame

RAYMOND Blanc’s successful culinary career was honoured at hospitality show Hotelympia last week when the chef was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Blanc has joined inaugural recipients the Roux brothers in Hotelympia’s Hall of Fame. Blanc, who opened country house hotel Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in 1984, described the award as a “great honour”.
“It’s fantastic to be rewarded in this way for what I have achieved to date,” he said.
