AN Edinburgh hotel has been named among the best in the UK for weddings and conferences for the third year running.
The George Hotel was one of just 18 venues across the UK to gain gold accreditation in BDRC Continental’s VenueVerdict Awards, which are determined by customer feedback surveys across 350 UK venues. The market research agency’s awards seek to honour venues that deliver “consistently exceptional” customer service.
David Welch, general manager of the George Street hotel, which has nine function suites, said the award is testament to the hotel’s “excellent facilities and motivated team”.
“It is always an honour to win an award which is determined by our customers,” he said.
