THE owners of a Dumbarton hotel are selling up after 25 years.

Located on the main A82 tourist route to Loch Lomond, the Milton Inn Hotel is being marketed by Bruce & Co with freehold and leasehold options available.
The hotel has 19 en suite letting rooms, a large bar and restaurant, a meeting room and a function suite. The letting rooms are split across the three buildings that make up the inn, with five apartment-style rooms in the farmhouse building and a further four double and twin rooms in the ‘Old Cottage’.
Bruce & Co’s Scott Toward said the current owners, who plan to retire, have built up a solid reputation for the hotel, which is said to attract a mix of local and passing trade.
“This high quality, beautifully-presented hotel is the perfect opportunity for someone to purchase one of Dumbarton’s premier establishments,” he said.
Offers over £799,950 are sought for the freehold, or £229,905 (rental £90,000 per annum) for the leasehold.
