No messing about on the river

CHEFS looking to branch out on their own might be interested in a restaurant opportunity that forms part of a riverside retail development in Perthshire.

The 40-cover Antiquary in Blairgowrie is part of the Riverside Gallery, which has been developed by landlord Roy Sim to incorporate an antiques showroom, Persian rug specialist John Briggs, and At Home – an accessories and gifts retailer.
Space remains for an art gallery and jewellery business.
Selling agent the Restaurant Agency said the new operator can capitalise on the existing customer base.
The Antiquary is available for an initial investment of £10,000, with the first year’s rent said to be less than £200 per week.
