THE Harbour Inn & Restaurant on Islay has been relaunched with a new look.

Owners Neil and Carol Scott have revamped the seven guest bedrooms in the hotel, which overlooks Bowmore harbour.
The Schooner Bar has also been refurbished in a more contemporary style while retaining its “warm and welcoming atmosphere”.
The relaunch came as the business, which is managed on a day-to-day basis by Neil and Carol’s son James and his fiancé Sian, was awarded its third consecutive VisitScotland gold four-star award for a restaurant with rooms.
“We always strive to go that extra mile for our guests and customers and are delighted to have been awarded VisitScotland’s gold award for the third year running,” said Neil.
“We’ve kept the special feel of the bar but given it a more modern and local twist that will make it even more inviting for our guests.”
