BLENDED scotch whisky brand Cutty Sark released a special edition expression last month to coincide with Burns’ Night.
The Tam o’Shanter is a version of the company’s 25 year old blend, and depicts a scene from the famous Burns poem on the bottle, as well as a wax closure showing Tam’s face.
Only 5000 bottles of Tam o’Shanter have been released, each presented in its own oak gift box along with a 134-page illustrated book telling the Tam o’Shanter story.
The new whisky is the first expression to be created since Edrington took over the Cutty Sark brand in April 2010.
