A NEW owner is sought for a Perthshire restaurant with rooms for the first time in 25 years.
Located in the village of Strathyre near Callander, Cregan House is a historic property, part of which is believed to date from the 17th century. The business has a 50-cover restaurant, lounge and five en suite letting rooms; there’s also owner’s accommodation and outbuildings in the grounds.
Gordon Mair, director of selling agent Cornerstone, credited current owners Gordon and Cherry Gunn with developing an award-wining business.
“Although Gordon and Cherry run the business very successfully and profitably, they choose to operate on a five day per week only trading period and therefore there is still potential in the business for new owners to realise,” he said.
