SCOTTISH pubs should be granted extra trading hours for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this June, the SBPA has said.
The trade group has asked licensing boards to grant an extra hour on Sunday June 3 and the bank holiday on Monday June 4 to mark the occasion, arguing that it is an example of a “special event of local or national significance” as outlined in the Licensing Act.
