TROON bar and restaurant Lido was gutted by fire last Sunday (February 5).

More than 30 firefighters tackled the blaze at the West Portland Street outlet, which is owned by Buzzworks Holdings.
Strathclyde Fire & Rescue said it was called to the venue at 11.26am following reports of a fire in the kitchen. A “significant” blaze had started to break out through the roof of the premises, said a spokeswoman.
“At its height, there were five appliances and 30 firefighters tackling a well-developed fire,” she told SLTN. “By 2.30pm the fire was under control and firefighters remained on the scene to dampen down the premises.”
No one was injured; a joint investigation into the cause of the fire is underway with Strathclyde Police.
