ENERGY efficiency should be a key consideration for operators investing in back-bar bottle coolers.
Jon Usher, marketing manager at Lec Commercial, said licensees can save around £60 per double-door bottle cooler each year by switching to an energy-efficient model.
Usher claimed Lec’s EfficienC coolers bring operators cost-saving benefits.
“These appear on a list of products from the UK government (Enhance Capital Allowance or ECA scheme) that qualify for special status, meaning that when a company purchases these ‘greener’, more environmentally-friendly products, it is able to offset the outlay against that year’s tax return, thereby helping with much-needed business cash flow,” he said.
