INDUSTRY charity HIT Scotland is enjoying a positive start to the year after raising £16,000 at its Christmas party.
The event, held last month in Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel, was attended by 220 guests and included a charity auction.
The cash will be used to fund the charity’s ‘emerging talent’ scholarships, which nurtures up and coming talent in the hospitality industry. The next scholarships will be awarded at the HIT Scotland Emerging Talent Conference at the Glasgow Science Centre next month.
