THE Hilton Grosvenor in Glasgow’s west end is to be refurbished to the tune of £1.3 million.
The project will give the hotel’s 96 bedrooms and suites a brand new look, complete with new fixtures and fittings.
Design consultant Cunningham McLean has been appointed to design the rooms and project manage the work, which is slated for completion in January.
“We’re delighted to be able to announce this further investment in our property,” said Hilton Grosvenor general manager Stuart Nelson.
“Coupled with our stylish new steak restaurant, Bo’Vine, and cocktail lounge BoBar, as well as plans for additional investment in 2012, we are continuing the ongoing transformation of one of Glasgow’s most iconic hotels.”
The hotel was sold by RBS to an unnamed buyer in a deal worth £9.45m in September.
