VIVAS has signed up to become the exclusive wine supplier to the TGI Friday’s restaurant chain.
The deal, which will see VIVAS supply a range of five red, five white, two rosé and three sparkling wines to the 56-strong chain, came as TGI looked to modernise its offer and broaden consumer choice.
The wines include ‘familiar favourites’ from Chile and Italy as well as emerging varietals like Fiano and Malbec.
VIVAS, which is a joint venture between wine firm Bibendum and wholesaler 3663, tasked its category management team to train the TGIs staff to familiarise them with the new list; training tools have also been developed to help staff sell the wine with confidence.
