HILTON is targeting couples and families this Christmas with a range of festive packages across its resorts in the Scottish Highlands.
Hilton Coylumbridge in Aviemore is offering a two-night Christmas package for £133.60 a night, which includes access to a playpark and soft play area for kids and a family swimming pool.
There will also be a fireworks display, ‘traditional festive feast’ and watch night service on Christmas Eve.
Guests will be greeted by a piper and, on Christmas morning, family guests will be visited by Santa Claus, who will bring presents for the children.
Later in the day guests can also look forward to a full Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings, served in the hotel’s Grant Room, followed by evening entertainment on Christmas night.
Santa will also be making an appearance at the Hilton Craigendarroch hotel in Royal Deeside. The hotel’s two-night Christmas package from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day is priced at £219 per night and includes a children’s party on Christmas Eve and a watch night service.
Christmas Day at the Craigendarroch begins with a visit from Santa, followed by a full Scottish breakfast.
Later in the day guests can choose from either a family or fine dining lunch. The fine dining meal will be served in the hotel’s Oaks Restaurant.
At new year, Craigendarroch is offering a three-night stay for £265 a night, which includes a Hogmanay dinner with ceilidh band, a whisky tasting and a family quiz as well as a Scottish piper show.
In order to boost bookings between Christmas and New Year both Hilton Craigendarroch and Hilton Coylumbridge are also marketing ‘twixmas’ stays.
These packages, priced from £119 per night, include dinner, bed and breakfast as well as various children’s activities, entertainment and complimentary use of leisure facilities at the resorts.
Meanwhile, Hilton Dunkeld House in Perthshire is offering either a two or three-night Christmas package, from £299 or £399.
Both packages include family entertainment and activities.
Christmas Day will begin with a Bucks Fizz breakfast, followed by a choice of activities such as a children’s Christmas party, a storyteller and taster sessions of either clays or archery.
The hotel’s Christmas package also includes afternoon tea, a traditional Scottish ceilidh dinner and a dinner dance.
Dunkeld is also offering either a two or three-night new year package, priced from either £499 or £599.
New year guests can take part in activities such as a falconry display and a tug of war competition; they also have the chance to attend the hotel’s black tie Hogmanay Gala Dinner.
