COBRA beer has introduced a new packaging design as it aims to become a top-ten beer brand in the UK.
The new-look design, which features a new brand identity, emphasises the beer’s Indian heritage and its suitability to be enjoyed on a variety of occasions – not just with Indian cuisine.
Cobra was originally imported from India and is now produced in the UK by global brewer Molson Coors.
The new packaging will be followed by branded glassware, which Coors is introducing to the on-trade next month.
“Cobra is a unique and iconic brand and our redesign is modern and sophisticated, fitting of an award-winning beer,” said Cobra founder and chairman Lord Karan Bilimoria.
“It is an exciting time for Cobra as we start our journey to lead the Molson Coors world beer category and ultimately become a top ten brand in the UK.”
