Water transformation

THREE newly-refurbished suites have been unveiled at the Lake of Menteith Hotel, representing the final stage in a root and branch redesign of the hotel.

The three lake view suites – Osprey, Menteith and Inchmaholme – have been revamped with the “colours of the landscape” and natural fabrics in a bid to bring the outdoors in; all three are said to offer an “oasis of calm and indulgence” for guests. The launch of the suites mean the 17-bedroom hotel has undergone a complete transformation since Ian Fleming bought it in 2005.
“On acquiring the hotel six years ago, we made a conscious decision to develop it in the style of a New England waterfront hotel, drawing on my years of experience working in the USA,” said Fleming.
“Challenging economic conditions mean that customers demand good value for money and we have to strive hard to make sure that we deliver.
“The Lake of Menteith Hotel has been completely refurbished over the past six years and we’re delighted to be completing this refurb with the unveiling of our three ‘new look’ ground floor terrace rooms, all of which enjoy spectacular lake views.”
