Putting Hot Food in the Spotlight

30_3

With Christmas round the corner and carvery sales becoming increasingly important to pubs, Hatco has launched four stylish new serving stations to put hot food firmly in the spotlight.

The freestanding, round carving stations guarantee precise serving temperatures and feature an adjustable, telescoping, heated decorative lamp with a 30° shade pivot, plated in either bright brass, bright nickel (standard) or antique bronze.
Hatco UK managing director Mark Poultney said: “The popularity of carveries and roasts, which now account for 20 percent of sales in UK pubs, offers great profit potential for pub chefs, while the ‘theatre of eating out’ is increasingly influencing dining choices.
“In time for Christmas, these stylish, serving stations can boost sales further as a great stage for chefs, presenting dishes attractively while keeping food at the correct temperature.”
Small and large rectangular models are also available with heated stone bases and curved cutting boards made from foodsafe materials. Bases come in four Swanstone® decorative stone colours; Gray Granite, Bermuda Sand, Night Sky (standard) and Sawgrass.
Hatco is a one-stop shop for tough kitchen equipment, including heated merchandisers, bain maries, heated wells, salamanders, toasters and decorative heat lamps.
