A FIFE restaurant with rooms is up for sale for the first time in a quarter of a century.
Lesley and Harry Bain are selling the Town House Hotel in Markinch to retire after 25 years at the helm.
During their ownership, the Bains are said to have developed the Town House into one of Fife’s most popular dining venues, with menus designed to offer value for money.
Cornerstone Business Agents’ Derek Burgoyne is handling the sale, having previously sold another nearby business on behalf of the Bains.
“The Town House Hotel is an exciting proposition for new owners,” he said.
“They will be taking over a well-known business which has genuine further expansion potential as Lesley and Harry were the first to admit they have not traded the business to its full potential in recent years.
“Despite this, trading figures are excellent and the business is now ready to be moved on to the next level.”
