ST Helier Cider has revealed the winners of the first ever St Helier Cider Online Music Awards.
The awards, hosted on a dedicated website, aimed to promote unsigned musicians and the results were decided by the general public.
Finalists in each of the seven categories were announced in May with videos of each act appearing on the awards website. St Helier became headline sponsor of the awards in January.
John Mills, managing director of parent company InterContinental Brands, described the scheme as “groundbreaking, original and distinctly different from the TV talent show norm”.
Winners included Caligrafi Jones, who was named best urban act, pop-rock band FranKo, who were named best rock act, and established YouTube singer Hannah Trigwell, who was named best international unsigned act.
