AN Edinburgh property has been judged to offer Scotland’s best guest accommodation at an awards ceremony in London.
23 Mayfield picked up the Guest Accommodation of the Year gong for Scotland in this year’s AA Bed and Breakfast Awards. The business, run by husband and wife team Ross and Kathleen Birnie, was praised for its boutique style and hospitality. “The AA is delighted to name 23 Mayfield as the AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Scotland for 2011-12,” said AA hotel services manager Simon Numphud. “This boutique guest house is a truly delightful place to stay and is fully deserving of its title.”
