Entry Process
SLTN’s annual search for Scotland’s best venues, operators and staff is on!
Before the judging gets underway, we need you to tell us why you, your business, a member of your staff, or someone you know or work with should be in the running. Together with our valued commercial partners, we’re seeking entries across a broad range of categories, reflecting the rich diversity that defines Scotland's hospitality industry. You can find details of each award on the Award Categories page.
Submissions will open in April and to enter or nominate someone, simply complete the online entry form. The form will ask you some basic questions related to the category (or categories) you are entering. You may enter up to three categories per venue. You can also submit your entries with a video response, if you choose.
Entries don’t have to be completed in one sitting; you can save your entry and return to it at a later date. Just make sure it is submitted by 23rd May! Your entry will then be reviewed by the SLTN team. If you are successful at this stage, you will be contacted by SLTN to arrange a judging visit, with the winners announced at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel on Thursday 6th November 2025.

Award Categories
Our Award categories cover a broad range of different sectors and specialisms, from Licensee of the Year and Best Late-Night Venue to Entrepreneur of the Year and Best Venue to Watch the Match. Visit our Categories page to view the full list.
Judging Process
Entries for each category are reviewed by the SLTN team and whittled down to a shortlist of six, with these entrants then visited by a team of judges. During this interview the entrant will be asked further questions related to the category they have entered and scored against set criteria.
The top three entrants in each category are invited to the SLTN Awards, taking place this year on 6th November at the Hilton Glasgow, where the winners will be announced.

Advice for Entrants
How do I enter the SLTN Awards?
To enter or nominate someone, simply complete the online entry form. The form will ask you some basic questions related to the category (or categories) you are entering. You may enter up to three categories per venue. You can also submit your entries with a video response, if you choose. Entries don’t have to be completed in one sitting; you can save your entry and return to it at a later date. Just make sure it is submitted by 23rd May!
How many award categories can I enter per venue?
You may enter up to three categories per venue.
How much does it cost to enter the SLTN Awards?
It’s absolutely free! Anyone can enter the awards or be nominated with zero cost attached.
Do I need to prepare anything before filling out the entry form?
We encourage you to take time to really consider your application and look to the areas and categories where you truly excel. Entering a detailed submission will help you to stand out during the shortlisting phase. If you prefer, you can submit a video response to the entry questions. Please check out the award criteria to pre-prepare your answers. Any video files should be prepared in advance of completing the entry form.
