Coca-Cola is sparing no expense with its festive point-of-sale kits

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is going all-out this month with new festive campaigns for Coke and Schweppes.

Festive point of sale kits for Coca-Cola include coasters, tent cards and a Santa hat for staff as well as a back of bar display based on the brand’s famous Christmas truck.

The kits are available from wholesalers as well as CCEP field sales reps.

Alongside the kits, the company is also running a promotion giving pub customers the chance to win a trip to Lapland by scanning QR codes on Coca-Cola Original and Coca-Cola Zero.

This is a key time of year for pubs and bars and soft drinks play a key role in driving sales.

“This is a key time of year for pubs and bars and soft drinks play a key role in driving sales, with the category growing in value by 20% in the run up to Christmas last year,” said Pat Humphries of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.

“Coca-Cola has become synonymous with Christmas thanks to the iconic campaigns that consumers look forward to every year.

“Our latest prize promotion and Christmas Truck POS kits will help operators create experiences in outlets that consumers want to enjoy and pay for during a time where people are being cautious with their spending.”

And the company’s Born Social campaign for Schweppes includes a festive suggested serve for the on-trade – the Schweppes Holiday Highball – which combines gin with gingerbread syrup, orange juice and Schweppes Tonic Water.

There will also be point of sale materials available to outlets.

The wider campaign consists of advertising running on cinema and video on-demand services as well as out of home advertising and social media activity.
