A HOTEL in the Stirlingshire town of Bridge of Allan which has been transformed following a major investment has come onto the market via commercial property firm Christie & Co.
The three-storey Royal Hotel is located on the town’s High Street and comprises 34 en suite bedrooms, an “expansive” bar and grill-style restaurant and “extensive and flexible” banqueting facilities, which can accommodate weddings as well as other corporate and leisure events.
A seven-figure refurbishment carried out in autumn 2017 combined the building’s original, Victorian features with modern finishes and bespoke design.
The heart of the renovation works saw the remodelling of the reception area on the ground floor and the creation of the open-plan bar and grill with large picture windows which look onto the high street as well as a wrap-around outside seating area.
We expect a high level of demand for the hotel from local entrepreneurs to international investors.
As the hotel sits on over two acres of ground, there is customer car parking for over 50 vehicles and potential to extend the venue further.
The business is described as having enjoyed “consistently strong levels” of trade and year-on-year growth from different markets, including weddings as well as increased spend in the restaurant and bar.

Offers in excess of £2.5 million are sought for the freehold of the hotel.
