Who will make a pitch for sports bar?

A SPORTS bar in Nairn which is said to operate at a “very healthy trading level” is for sale via Cornerstone Business Agents.

Located on High Street, Uncle Bob’s Bar occupies part of the former Stafford Hotel.

Having built up a reputation as a sports venue, Uncle Bob’s Bar is said to attract a raft of sporting groups – including darts, pool and dominos teams – as well as sponsoring a number of local football teams. The traditional public bar includes a pool table, dart board and juke box.

Barry McNeil, a director of Cornerstone, which is seeking offers around £360,000 for the business and three-bedroom owner’s flat, said: “Our clients have run Uncle Bob’s Bar in Nairn since 2011 during which time they have built up a very busy public bar performing at an impressive trading level.”
