New dispense unit is top-drawer

The firm behind Italian beer brand Menabrea in the UK has launched a new draught dispense unit for venues without a beer cellar.

Allowing customers without cellar space or a main bar to pour cold draught pints, the new unit is said to be ideal for outdoor areas; the tabletop unit acts as a chiller and can be set on any level surface where it is connected directly into a keg and gas cylinder.

Available from this month through Tennent’s, the Menabrea unit comes with glassware and visibility kits.
Commenting on the launch of the new unit, Angus Lawrie, head of development brands at C&C Group, said: “The new draught dispense unit is another fantastic addition to the level of support that we can offer the on-trade, and we’re sure that the tabletop unit will allow us to meet the growing customer demand for this quality, authentic birra.”
C&C Group has also recently appointed Antea Allegro (pictured) as brand ambassador to the on-trade for Menebrea.
Previously at Diageo, Allegro’s new role is to spread brand awareness of Menabrea, specifically in the Italian restaurant sector.
