Third in line at Strathord

A PUB which has had just two owners in the past 52 years has come on to the books of Cornerstone Business Agents.
Located in the Perthshire village of Stanley, the Strathord Inn is being sold by Mr and Mrs Burgh, who have owned the pub for the past 25 years.
Said to be well-presented with a “very traditional feel”, the pub operates solely on a wet basis and is said to offer prospective owners scope for expansion. The property includes owner’s accommodation on the first floor.
Barry McNeil of Cornerstone, which is marketing the Strathord Inn with a guide price of £250,000, said: “It is very unusual after 25 years of ownership to find a business still performing at a very strong level. Our clients operate the business well as part of the local community and the Strathord Inn has become somewhat of a hub for the local community.”
