Chance to take bite out of East Neuk

Kingarroch Inn

An historic inn in the East Neuk of Fife, near St Andrews and the Fife coast, has come onto the market.

The Kingarroch Inn, in the village of Craigrothie, comprises a restaurant and bar with a split-level dining area that has been run most recently as a gastropub, focusing on local and seasonal dishes. An inn has stood on the site for over 300 years and the property is said to retain many period features.

Also included in the sale are two self-catering apartments in the adjacent cottage, which could be reverted back to its original function as owner’s accommodation to create “a sizeable family home for on-site operators”.

The leasehold to the Kingarroch Inn is on the market through property firm Cornerstone Business Agents, with a premium of £55,000 and rent of £29,400 per annum.
