A rare chance in the city

There is a rare opportunity for a buyer to develop a townhouse in the centre of Glasgow.
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, which has occupied 67-73 Carlton Place on the banks of the River Clyde for over 30 years, is on the market via property firm CDLH.

The building comprises four interlinked and extended townhouses, offering some 35,000 sq ft, and includes 25 parking spaces under the current configuration.
As it stands, the building is on the market but the sale will not complete until 2018, to allow for the construction of the new hospice at Bellahouston Park.

The property agent said this time period would allow any potential developer to apply for and obtain planning consent prior to completing the acquisition.
The property is being marketed at offers over £1.5 million.
