Who will turn The Quay?

AN entertainment complex in Musselburgh which is said to offer scope for development has come onto the books of Christie & Co.

The Quay site currently comprises the Frisco Bay restaurant, a bar, a diner, a leisure complex with swimming pool and gym, and several function spaces, which cater for various events. However, planning permission has been granted for the provision of 28 en suite letting bedrooms to replace the existing leisure facilities.

Stuart Drysdale, associate director at Christie & Co, said the site offers development potential for a new owner. “This is a great opportunity for someone new to enhance this established venue in Musselburgh and potentially bring something new to the local and wider community,” he said.
The freehold of The Quay is on the market at £1.365 million.
