Recycling firm signs on the dotted line

FOOD recycling firm Olleco has become the latest company to sign up to Zero Waste Scotland’s voluntary recycling initiative.
To become a signatory, companies must provide their customers with comprehensive recycling services, supported by clear communications; ensure services provided are consistent with legal requirements and good practice; and systems are in place to ensure continuous improvement.
Designed to support the Scottish Government’s Zero Waste Plan, the initiative is open to commercial waste or resource management companies; more than 20 organisations have signed up so far.
Vincent Igoe, managing director (Scotland) of Olleco, said the firm is “immensely proud to be part of an association that is working incredibly hard to help reduce the waste we produce here in Scotland”.
“It is a shared goal that is vitally important in guaranteeing environmental security and we will continue to help them and waste producers achieve it,” said Igoe.
