A HIGHLAND inn that’s said to be benefitting from renewed interest in Scotland’s north coast has been snapped up in a deal brokered by ASG Commercial.

The Milton Inn has four bedrooms and two public bars.

The Milton Inn in rural Ross-shire has been purchased by a buyer with an interest in promoting businesses along the North Coast 500 route, a scenic circular route of the north Highlands which passes through a number of tourist hot-spots.
Trading year-round, The Milton Inn comprises four bedrooms, a snug bar, which the selling agent said can “comfortably accommodate up to 20 customers”, and a lounge bar with a capacity for 40 diners.
Jackie MacGregor, marketing director at ASG, suggested that the sale, one of 33 completed by the Inverness-based firm in 2016, indicates that “there is a high level of confidence within the hospitality sector from prospective purchasers”. “Moreover, we see a more positive outlook from some surveyors, accountants, financial institutions and solicitors,” she said.
“Signs of active leadership by professionals working on the periphery of the industry is generating a positive aura and a more sustainable future for the sector.”
